- 1 ounce (29.6ml) daily for every 2 pounds (0.9kg) body weight.
- For every 25 pounds exceeded from ideal body weight, add 8 ounces.

Active person (frequent sports participation, on-the-go lifestyle)
- 1.4 ounce (41.4ml) daily for every 2 pounds (0.9kg) body weight.
- Higher water intake, depending on higher amount of exercise.
- Spread water intake evenly. Avoid drinking more than 4 glasses per hour.
- Allow several weeks for your bladder to adjust. Once you are famliarised with this drinking pattern, you will urinate less frequently, in larger amounts.
- Approximate: 13.5 glasses a day (8 ounces per glass) |
